100MW/500Wh! “Vanadium Flow Battery Industrialization” Project Settled in Luzhou, Sichuan

China Energy Storage Network News: On 24 January 24, we learned from the Economic Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Bureau of Jiangyang District, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, that the investment promotion work of Jiangyang District in January 2024 was outstanding, with the "New Materials and Display" project and the "100MW/ "500Wh vanadium battery industrialization" project have been settled one after another, achieving a good start.

The "100MW/500Wh vanadium flow battery industrialization" project has a total planned investment of approximately 600 million yuan. The investor, Guizhou Juneng Century Technology Co., Ltd. (CEC), is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research, development, and industrial production of energy storage vanadium flow battery technology. It has internationally leading patented technologies and essential achievements in high-performance perfluorinated ion membranes, high-activity electrodes, high-energy-efficiency stacks, wide-temperature vanadium electrolytes, and full-system modularization of vanadium flow batteries, and has vast product advantages. The investor, Sichuan Zhongxin Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., is a company engaged in manufacturing electronic special materials, technical services, and technology development. The project is located in Jiangnan Science and Technology Industrial Park. The factory covers an area of 12,500 square meters. It is expected that within three years of being put into operation, a cumulative sales revenue of 550 million yuan will be achieved.
