Experimental Research on Mechanical Properties of Corroded Steel Bars
Abstract:
Based on systematic observations on the degree of corrosion and change of mechanical properties of some kinds of steel bars, the mechanism and speed of corrosion and rules of degeneration of mechanical properties were analyzed in this paper. The experimental research was also done to steel bars located in a concrete structure. This paper may provide reference for design of concrete structures in corrosive environment.
