100MW/400MWh! Jilin Plans to Build a New Energy Storage Demonstration Project

The project name is Jilin Songyuan Qian'an 100MW/400MWh new energy storage demonstration project. It is located in Shuizi Town, Qian'an County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province. A vanadium flow battery energy storage power station will be built on the same site as the booster station.
It is a supporting project for the "Onshore Three Gorges" project, which is a supporting energy storage power station of the wind power project to be built in Songyuan City, in line with the "Development plan of the national clean energy base in the west of Jilin Province".
The project builds a 100MW/400MWh vanadium flow battery pack, which is divided into 34 energy storage units, 32 of which have a capacity of 3MW/12MWh and 2 of which have a capacity of 2MW/8MWh.
This project is scheduled to start construction in April 2024 and be fully completed by December 2024, with a total construction period of 9 months.
