100MW/400MWh! Shandong Flow Battery Energy Storage Company signed a vanadium flow battery energy storage demonstration project with Weifang City

China Energy Storage Network News: On 18 October, at the opening ceremony of the 2023 China (Shandong) Energy Storage High-Quality Development Conference, Shandong Flow Battery Energy Storage Company and the Weifang Municipal Development and Reform Commission signed a 100MW/400MWh vanadium flow battery energy storage demonstration project cooperation agreement.
The project signed by the flow battery energy storage company covers an area of about 50 acres. It is currently the largest flow battery energy storage power station planned in Shandong Province. It is a supporting energy storage facility for the 10 million kW new energy base in the northern Shandong saline-alkali tidal flat. After completion, It mainly participates in Shandong power grid peak and frequency regulation, power market auxiliary services and capacity leasing, and enjoys the provincial energy bureau's temporary energy storage capacity subsidies, etc., playing an active role in the stability and balance of Shandong Province's power system.
