Enerflow Signs Agreement with Zigong City for 2GW Vanadium Flow Battery Production Chain

Enerflow Technology Co., Ltd. has signed a cooperation agreement with the Yan Tan District Government of Zigong City to establish a production chain for 2GW vanadium flow batteries annually. The agreement was finalized during the 2024 Zigong "New Materials + Modern Agriculture" Industrial Project Signing Event held at Zigong’s Hui Dong Grand Hotel.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Chi Qingfeng, General Manager of Enerflow, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration. "Zigong's strategic location, robust industrial foundation, and favourable business environment made it a natural choice for this project. We deeply appreciate the city government's support throughout the project’s planning and execution," he said. Mr. Chi emphasized the company’s expertise in energy storage technologies, including industry-leading vanadium and iron-chromium flow battery solutions. From stack development to electrolyte production and system integration, Enerflow is dedicated to building a comprehensive energy storage ecosystem.
The project is expected to significantly enhance Zigong’s grid stability and safety, addressing challenges in renewable energy integration while contributing to sustainable economic growth and energy transformation in the region.
