Groundbreaking Ceremony for 10MW/240MWh Vanadium-Lithium Hybrid Grid-Side Independent Energy Storage Power Station Project in Hebei

Recently, Hebei Yanzhao Xingtai Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. commenced the construction of its first phase 110MW/240MWh (10MW/40MWh vanadium flow battery energy storage) vanadium-lithium hybrid grid-side independent energy storage power station project. This marks a significant milestone for Hebei Construction & Investment Group's first grid-side independent energy storage power station, highlighting a crucial step in the company's development within the energy storage sector.

The Hebei Yanzhao Xingtai 200MW/800MWh vanadium-lithium hybrid grid-side independent energy storage power station project spans approximately 100 acres, with a total construction area of about 10,100 square meters. The project will be constructed in phases, with the first phase being the 110MW/240MWh vanadium-lithium hybrid grid-side independent energy storage power station. On 15 March 2024, the project received construction approval from the Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, gaining recognition and strong support from district, city, and provincial authorities.

New energy storage technology is vital for building modern power systems and promoting the green and low-carbon transition of energy. It also plays a crucial role in achieving the "dual carbon" goals. The implementation of this project is of great significance in enhancing the peak-shaving capacity of the power grid in western Xingtai, improving the flexibility, economy, and safety of the power system.
