HuanTai ZhuoVan Materials (Gansu) Co., Ltd. has entered the trial-production stage for its “20,000 m³/year vanadium electrolyte + 3,000 t/year high-purity raw materials production line project” in Qingyang, Gansu Province, China. On the morning of 29 January, the project achieved a key milestone with the official roll-off of its first batch of high-purity vanadium pentoxide (V₂O₅)

HuanTai ZhuoVan Materials (Gansu) Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise introduced by Qingyang City. The company is developing the project in the southern petrochemical industry zone of Xifeng Industrial Park with a total investment of approximately RMB 500 million and a two-phase construction plan

Phase 1: 3,000 t/year high-purity vanadium oxide feedstock line (completed; now in trial production)

  • Status: Constructed and commissioned into trial production
  • Key facilities: raw-material warehouse, purification workshop, calcination workshop, and related supporting infrastructure
  • Products & applications: high-purity vanadium oxide products (including high-purity V₂O₅), serving vanadium flow batterieshigh-end vanadium alloys, and applications in chemicals, catalysts, and pigments

Phase 2: 20,000 m³/year vanadium electrolyte line (to be built)

  • Scope: construction of the electrolyte preparation workshop and finished-product warehouse, forming an integrated electrolyte supply capability to support the expanding vanadium flow battery value chain

Upon full completion and ramp-up, the project is expected to:

  • Create approximately 110 jobs
  • Deliver annual output value of around RMB 500 million
  • Help catalyze broader investment across the local and regional energy-storage ecosystem, including VFB manufacturing, system integration, and equipment testing, strengthening upstream–downstream linkages for the storage industry in Qingyang
