Invinity secures largest-ever order with 43 MWh sale to Dairyland Power Cooperative

Endurium vanadium flow batteries will support long-duration energy storage projects across multiple sites in the U.S. Midwest
Invinity Energy Systems plc (AIM: IES), a global leader in vanadium flow battery technology, has agreed to supply 43 MWh of battery systems to Dairyland Power Cooperative for deployment across long-duration energy storage projects in the U.S. Midwest.
The sale, the largest in Invinity's history, forms part of the Rural Energy Viability for Integrated Vital Energy (REVIVE) programme, which is supported by funding from the U.S. Department of Energy. Dairyland supplies wholesale electricity to member-owned utilities serving communities across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois.
Invinity's Endurium vanadium flow batteries will be installed at multiple locations across Dairyland's Upper Midwest service territory to strengthen grid resilience and reliability. Delivery is expected to begin in late 2027.
Dairyland selected Endurium for its ability to deliver long-duration charge and discharge cycles as network demand and supply fluctuate. Invinity's U.S. delivery record and the field performance of its operating assets were also important considerations in the selection process.
The order builds on Invinity's recent U.S. commercial momentum, including a 32 MWh sale to Pacific Steel Group in California and a 2 MWh sale to a commercial and industrial site in Wisconsin.
