Longsheng New Energy’s core component project, the “Zero Carbon Factory,” officially broke ground on the morning of 9 March in Shengze Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou. The groundbreaking ceremony, hosted by Xu Huilin, was attended by key government officials, industry representatives, and Chenlong Group executives, marking a significant milestone.Deputy District Mayor Chen Yu highlighted the “Zero Carbon Factory” as a key step in the national “dual carbon” strategy, with full government support for Wujiang’s new energy industry. Chenlong Group Chairman Wang Xiaogang emphasized the company's commitment to innovation, accelerating the expansion of new energy and materials for sustainable, high-quality growth.

Technological Innovation Driving a 'Zero Carbon' Vision

The “Zero Carbon Factory” is centered on the core technologies of “multi-energy complementarity” and “comprehensive zero carbon.” In terms of new power systems, the project will utilize intelligent microgrid coordination and control technology to integrate wind, solar, storage, and charging facilities, maximizing the efficiency of green electricity utilization. The factory will also establish a closed-loop energy supply system, integrating wind power, photovoltaics, energy storage, and charging stations to reduce energy consumption and enhance ecological benefits. Additionally, its R&D team, led by internationally renowned scientists, is dedicated to advancing next-generation battery cell technologies.

Project Overview and Future Development

The Longsheng New Energy “Zero Carbon Factory” is a strategically significant project in Chenlong Group’s expansion into the new energy and new materials sectors. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the first phase of the project covers 29 acres, with an investment of 385 million yuan. The project will focus on the research, development, and production of vanadium flow batteries, the development of new power systems, and the construction of zero-carbon parks, along with the implementation of integrated energy applications. It plans to establish an R&D and testing center for innovative power systems and products, featuring a vanadium flow battery production line with an expected annual output of 100MWh. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of 550 million yuan, with a per-acre tax contribution of 1 million yuan and approximately 220 job opportunities.
