"The project started construction in July 2023. The construction of steel structure hoisting, external protective structure closure, internal heavy-load ground, and equipment foundation have been completed for the electrolyte preparation workshop. The remaining supporting auxiliary facilities have completed 60% of the total progress. The work such as equipment placement and pipeline connection is underway." said Song Yunhao, project manager of the 20,000 cubic meters annual vanadium electrolyte production line project of Wontai New Vanadium Materials (Gansu) Co., Ltd.

The 20,000 cubic meters per year vanadium electrolyte production line project is one of the sub-projects of the Wontai Power vanadium Flow Battery Industrial Chain Project, with a total investment of approximately 250 million yuan. The first phase mainly builds a 10,000 cubic meters/year vanadium electrolyte production line and supports auxiliary service projects. The second phase will build 3,000 tons/year of high-purity vanadium oxide purification equipment and 10,000 cubic meters/year of electrolyte production equipment and supporting facilities.
"We will strive to complete the first phase of the construction and start trial production in August this year. After our entire project is completed and put into production, it will create about 120 new jobs and generate annual tax revenue of about 11 million yuan. At the same time, it can meet the production and construction needs of Wontai Power's 300MW vanadium flow battery energy storage equipment production base and 125MW/500MWH shared energy storage power station, further improving Guazhou's vanadium flow battery energy storage industry chain and build Guazhou into the country's largest and most competitive vanadium flow battery energy storage battery industry chain strategic highland." Song Yunhao said.
