XinXin Vanadium Titanium Hebei Xingtai GW-Level Vanadium Flow Battery Research and Production Base Project Begins Construction

The groundbreaking ceremony for the GW-level Vanadium Flow Battery Research and Production Base, spearheaded by Chengde XinXin Vanadium Titanium, took place on 15 October 2024 in the Xingtai Economic Development Zone. This project marks a significant milestone in Xingtai’s strategic development as a leading city in new energy technologies.
Key figures in attendance included Yang Meng, Secretary of the Xingtai Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Economic Development Zone, and Feng Xiangli, Vice Mayor of Xingtai, who delivered speeches at the event. The ceremony also hosted leaders and key stakeholders from the local government and Chengde XinXin Vanadium Titanium Co. Ltd.
Chengde Xinxin Vanadium and Titanium Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Chengde Wanlitong Industrial Group, has been at the forefront of vanadium flow battery technology for years, focusing on the research, production, and operation of vanadium flow batteries and their associated raw materials. The newly launched base, with an investment of 1.25 billion RMB, will feature highly automated production lines and large-scale production capacity. Vanadium flow batteries are known for their long energy storage duration, high safety standards, and market competitiveness. They are widely used across power, grid, and user-side applications.
Chairman Zhang Jianyong of Chengde Wanlitong Industrial Group expressed his commitment to delivering a high-quality, high-standard, and efficient project. He commended the Xingtai Municipal Government’s dedication to fostering an ideal environment for new energy enterprises, which positions Xingtai as a hub for future growth in the industry.
