Xinxing Ductile Iron’s Automated Vanadium Flow Battery Production Line Goes Live

Xinxing Ductile Iron Co., Ltd., a core enterprise of the Xinxing Cathay International Group, has launched China’s first fully automated production line for vanadium flow batteries. This milestone was celebrated at the "Innovative Energy Storage – Intelligent Vanadium Solutions" event on 25 October in Huanghua, Hebei, which also marked the inauguration of an integrated zero-carbon workshop combining wind, solar, and energy storage technologies.
In his address, He Qishu, President of Xinxing Ductile Iron, emphasized the company’s dedication as a central enterprise to the national "30-60" carbon goals. By focusing on vanadium flow batteries as a strategic gateway, Xinxing aims to develop a comprehensive "vanadium flow battery industrial chain + green power + shared energy storage" model, advancing both traditional and emerging industries.
Chen Yongfeng, Chen Yongfeng, Chief Engineer of Xinxing Ductile Iron and Director of the company's Research Institute, shared the company’s vision to foster vanadium flow batteries as a new production capability, leveraging resource management, technological innovation, and novel business models.
Xinxing’s event concluded with the activation of the zero-carbon integrated facility, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable energy solutions and a promising future for clean energy storage.
