Zhejiang Junyang New Energy 1GW/4GWh vanadium flow battery core industrialization project started construction in Dunhuang City

On the morning of 19 June, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 1GW/4GWh vanadium flow battery core industrialization project was held in the Optoelectronic Industry Park of Dunhuang City. The construction of this project is not only a practical action for Dunhuang City to comprehensively seize the opportunity of the national "dual carbon" strategy and accelerate the high-quality development of the new energy equipment manufacturing industry but also a practical measure to catch up with and advance, and solidly promote the "strong industry" action.
It is understood that the total investment of the 1GW/4GWh vanadium liquid flow battery core industrialization project in Dunhuang City is 2 billion yuan, which will be invested in three phases. It will mainly build proton membrane production workshops, battery stack workshops and assembly workshops. After the project is fully completed, the annual output value can reach 3 billion yuan, with an annual tax payment of 100 million yuan, and it is expected to recruit more than 150 employees. The construction of the project will be of great significance in filling the gaps in the Dunhuang new energy equipment manufacturing industry chain, promoting the development of Dunhuang's vanadium industry, and building a modern industrial system.
