Research, Production and Application of V-N Microalloyed High Strength Reinforcing Bar for Building in China
Abstract:
The paper reviewed the research, production and application of V-N microalloyed high strength concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) in China. Enhanced-nitrogen in V-containing rebar promotes precipitation of fine V(C,N) particles, and improves markedly precipitation strengthening effectiveness of vanadium. Therefore, V addition in V-N microalloyed rebar can be reduced by 40% compared with the same strength level of V-containing rebar.
